Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2025
At Table4Thirteen, we believe in transparency and flexibility. This policy explains your rights and obligations when cancelling memberships, events or on-demand purchases, and how refunds and credits are handled. Please read carefully; by holding a subscription or booking with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope & Definitions
- "We/Us/Our" refers to Table4Thirteen Ltd.
- "You/Your" refers to any individual or entity that:
- Holds a subscription to one of our membership tiers (The Connoisseur or The Patron).
- Books an event or experience (live workshops, social gatherings, retreats) either via a subscription credit or on-demand.
- Purchases digital content or recordings outside a subscription.
- "Working day" means any weekday (Monday to Friday) excluding UK public holidays.
- "Event" includes all live or virtual workshops, masterclasses, networking dinners, retreats and similar programmes.
- "On-demand Purchase" refers to single-purchase items such as standalone workshops, recorded masterclasses or third-party partner services bought outside a membership.
2. Membership Cancellations
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions ( The Connoisseur)
- Cancellation Anytime: You may cancel via your online account or by emailing memberships@table4thirteen.com.
- Notice Requirement: Submit cancellation at least one working day before your next renewal date to prevent further charges.
- Access Period: After cancellation, your benefits remain active until the end of the current paid month.
- No Pro-Rata Refunds: We do not issue partial refunds for unused days within a billing cycle.
2.2 Annual Subscriptions (The Patron)
- 12-Month Commitment: Annual plans cannot be terminated mid-term.
- Non-Renewal Notice: To avoid automatic renewal, cancel at least one working day before your membership anniversary.
- No Refunds for Unused Term: No refunds or credits are provided for any unused portion of an annual term.
2.3 Downgrades & Reactivation
- Downgrading: If you downgrade (e.g. Patron → Connoisseur), your new tier takes effect at the next billing or renewal. No refunds are provided for the remaining period on your original plan.
- Reactivation: If you reactivate within 90 days of cancellation, you'll retain your previous start date and benefits; after 90 days, you begin a new term.
3. Event & Experience Cancellations
3.1 Member-Initiated Cancellations
- Full Refund or Credit: Cancel event bookings via your account at least 48 hours before the scheduled start for a full refund or account credit. You choose.
- Late Cancellations: Requests received less than 48 hours before event start are non-refundable. We recommend immediate notification if circumstances change.
- No-Shows: Failure to attend without cancellation may result in temporary suspension of future booking privileges or forfeiture of guest-pass opportunities.
3.2 We-Initiated Cancellations
- By Table4Thirteen or Venue Partner: If an event is cancelled due to venue issues, partner withdrawal, health & safety concerns or force majeure, you will be offered:
- A full refund to your original payment method, or
- Priority booking on the next available date (subject to capacity).
- Notification: We will inform you via email at least 24 hours in advance or as soon as practicable.
4. On-Demand Purchases & Third-Party Services
- General Rule: On-demand purchases (e.g. individual masterclasses, recordings) are non-refundable once access has been granted, unless we or the hosting provider cancel.
- Third-Party Terms: Some partner-provided experiences (travel packages, private dining) may have bespoke cancellation terms. We will disclose these at the point of booking; in such cases, those third-party terms prevail.
5. Refund Processing
- Method: Refunds are returned to your original payment method.
- Timing: Once approved, we initiate refunds within 5 working days; funds may take up to 7–10 working days to appear in your account.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
We recognise that emergencies occur. In cases of serious illness, bereavement or other extenuating circumstances:
- Contact: Email memberships@table4thirteen.com with a brief explanation and any supporting documents.
- Review: We will review your case on a discretionary basis.
- Possible Outcomes: Depending on the situation, we may offer partial refunds, full credits or rescheduling options.
Decisions in these cases aim to be both fair and compassionate.

We reserve the right to update or amend this policy at any time. Changes take effect upon posting here with an updated "Last updated" date. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. For questions or clarifications, please contact memberships@table4thirteen.com.
