Accessibility Policy
Last Updated: 4 July 2025
At Table4Thirteen, we are committed to making our experiences, events, and digital spaces inclusive and accessible to all members, regardless of physical ability, sensory needs, or health-related considerations. Our goal is to remove barriers and create a seamless, welcoming environment across every aspect of our offering.
1. Digital Accessibility
We are continuously improving the accessibility of our website and digital member platform to support diverse needs and ensure ease of use.
- Our platform is designed with accessibility in mind, supporting keyboard navigation, screen readers, and alternative input methods.
- We aim to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards.
- All key content areas and member tools are tested regularly for usability across common assistive technologies.
- If you encounter any digital barriers or difficulties while using our site or app, please contact us at hello@tableforthirteen.com and we will prioritise a resolution.
2. Venue Accessibility
We strive to work with venues that prioritise inclusivity, comfort, and physical accessibility.
- We partner primarily with venues that offer step-free access, wheelchair-friendly entrances, accessible toilets, and lift availability (where required).
- Each event listing includes an accessibility section outlining important features such as level access, parking availability, hearing loops, and restroom facilities.
- If you have specific requirements—such as ramp access, sensory-friendly environments, or reserved seating—please let us know during the booking process so we can coordinate in advance.
3. Event & Experience Accessibility
We are committed to delivering accessible, accommodating experiences wherever possible.
- Many of our events include quiet zones, flexible seating, and easy-access routes.
- For physically demanding experiences (e.g. active wellness retreats or outdoor sessions), we will do our best to offer modified options or provide transparent information regarding physical demands.
- Closed captioning or transcripts will be offered for online sessions, talks, or recorded content where feasible.
- If an event is not fully accessible, we will clearly communicate any limitations before you confirm your booking.
4. Assistance, Companions & Support
We understand that some members may require personal support in order to enjoy events comfortably.
- Members who require personal assistance (such as a caregiver, support worker, or companion) are welcome to bring them along, free of charge, where venue capacity and event format allow.
- Please notify us at hello@tableforthirteen.com at least 48 hours in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
- Our team is happy to assist with venue directions, entry protocols, or any other logistical concerns prior to the event.
5. Feedback & Continuous Improvement
Your feedback is crucial in helping us improve accessibility across Table4Thirteen.
- We actively welcome suggestions, ideas, and reports of challenges you may face—whether digitally, at a venue, or during a member experience.
- Every report will be reviewed by our team, and where action can be taken, we will implement improvements promptly.
- For long-term feedback and consultations, we may reach out to involve you in accessibility planning or beta testing for upcoming events and platform features.
To share feedback or request assistance, please email us at hello@tableforthirteen.com.
Accessibility is not an add-on at Table4Thirteen—it's a standard. Whether you're accessing a digital masterclass, attending an elegant dinner, or participating in a group wellness retreat, we will always aim to meet your needs with care, discretion and clarity.
